Academics

As academic interest is held to high standards, Alpha Xi Delta expects each member to keep their school work as their top priority as well as developing her fullest intellectual, cultural and social potential. Our chapter expects its members to maintain a GPA at least a 2.6 minimum with the average all-sorority GPA being above a 3.0.

Although grade point averages, test scores, and graduate school entrance exams are an important part of our chapter academic program, the intellectual development of our members is our priority as a chapter.  Our intellectual development programs include components that reward excelling students and promote academic growth.  Alpha Xi Delta offers study hours weekly at our chapter house and at our campus library.  Each semester, we recognize sisters that have the highest chapter GPA, have completed the most study hours, and who have shown the most improvement.

The sister of Alpha Xi Delta are involved in intellectually stimulating programs both on and off campus. Our members are a part of programs such as Order of Omega, Psi Chi Honors Society, Veggielution Sustainable Community Farm, Via West Special Needs Camp, Angels On Stage, CASA Student Success Center and many more. This past year our chapter was awarded "Sorority of The Year" and "Highest New Member GPA." Additionally, many of our sister have participated in the Study Abroad programs to countries such as France, Spain, England & Ireland.

Alpha Xi Delta Nationals also offers many scholarships and grants to a variety of members and chapters.  A full list of scholarship applications can be found here.
